If anything was to define Anna & Mohamad’s celebration, it was it’s uniqueness. For this Spanish – Lebanese wedding in Spain, the couple chose to host their 300 international guests in Anna’s home city of Barcelona, and we carefully selected three stunning locations that gave guests an all round taste of the area. After the welcome event in the city centre on day one, guests were whisked into the Catalan countryside to beautiful Castell Sant Marçal, where there were plenty of surprises in store!
Read on for all the details, gorgeous photography by Diez & Bordons, and do not miss the video highlights by the very talented Kaco Films.
We love to work in venues that allow us to create a design concept that evolves throughout the different parts of the event. In the lower gardens of the Castell, we worked with pale pastels and minimalist lines. The grand staircase was the connector to the more flamboyant colours of the dinner area, bedecked in the most stunning ombré coloured enchanted garden. Huge thanks to the Pedro Navarro team for bringing this idea to life! After the burst of colour of the banquet, guests were treated to another surprise in the ballroom, transformed into a magically lit almond grove. The vibe was very much a Lebanese wedding, made in Spain, perfectly merging the couples’ roots and influences.
The bride and groom were keen to give guests a real taste of some exceptional local cuisine, while also incorporating into the presentation some of the renowned flamboyance of Lebanese weddings. In Spain, food and drink are the order of the wedding day, and the guests were absolutely wowed by the variety and quality of the feast served to an exceptional standard by top catering company Esther Conde.
There were so many special moments during this magical evening, but a huge highlight for us has to be the grand entrance of the bride and groom accompanied by a brass band and live vocals from Shine.
It’s such an amazing feeling when the results of all the hard work of planning surpass even our own very high expectations, and this was certainly the case with Anna and Mohamad’s wedding weekend extravaganza. We could not be more grateful to the whole group, who were lively, fun and incredibly gracious, and of course to Anna and Mohamad who were an absolutely pleasure to work with from day one, and with whom we hope to remain friends for years to come.
