Andrea and Marco wanted their intimate wedding to be a unforgettable three day trip for their closest family and friends. And it was indeed a fairytale feast for all of the senses. El Palauet fit the bill as a totally unique Barcelona wedding venue. The abundant florals and gourmet cuisine completed the magical experience.

The Ceremony

The team from Távola worked lovingly to create a garden wonderland around the lines of the stunning art deco Barcelona wedding venue. The scene was set, and having Marco’s father, an ordained Reverend, officiate the ceremony made it all the more intimate and personal.

We love discovering new traditions at every single one of our international weddings, and this time the newlyweds ‘jumped the broom’ at the end of the ceremony, which was a first for us!

The Reception

The elegant décor theme continued throughout the rest of the day, with lavish florals in blush, peach and truffle tones. The dinner setting was one of all time favourites, with a long high centrepiece dripping with candles, and sleek white and gold tableware. The ambience and lighting perfectly complemented the wine cellar of the historical Barcelona wedding venue.

A seven course tasting menu from Esther Conde Catering took guests through a tour of delicious local cuisine, and the dessert buffet, handcrafted by their in house patissier, was like something out of a dream.

It has to be said that Andrea & Marco’s day ticked all the boxes. Romantic, emotional, fun-filled and super pretty, it is high on our list of favourite weddings of all time!
