We always say that the most amazing thing about our job is the huge mix of nationalities and cultures that we see come together at every single event. In this case, the bride had a Hong Kong/Scottish/Austrialian background, the Australian groom was completing an MBA in Barcelona, and they had plans to settle down in London after the wedding. So what could be a better choice than to bring together all of their friends and family for a destination wedding in Spain?

The Story

When we first met Tina and Zac they were living in Barcelona and enjoying an insight into Spanish life. Their destination wedding in Spain was to be a very fitting way to remember this part of their story. As they knew the area well, they had considered various venues before deciding on Casa Felix, which gave the authentic Spanish ambience they were looking for. The location gave the different groups of friends and family, from the many different parts of the world that have played a part in the couple’s lives, a chance to get to know each other.  The memories couldn’t be better preserved than in these truly breathtaking images by En Route Photography. The Theme

Tina had very clear ideas about what she wanted for the decoration of the day. Elegance was key, and we put great attention to detail into reflecting this in every aspect of this destination wedding in Spain. The colour palette was composed of neutrals and pastels in the florals, linens, bridemaids dresses, and down to the custom made fabric selected to dress the pergola area at the venue. Highlights of deep berry tones in the bride’s bouquet and makeup, and table decoration, completed the impeccably stylish look.

The Highlights

The ceremony was particularly emotional, with readings in both English and Spanish. The newlyweds’ then exit made their exit with dried olive leaves as confetti, the perfect fit at this venue. The couple put a great deal of thought into details that would give their guests an unforgettable experience at their destination wedding in Spain. The group were wowed by a never ending selection of delicious Spanish dishes, by the caterer Sensacions, and serenaded with live music throughout the day. Later in the evening they enjoyed a mouthwatering cheese and dessert buffet, along with a carefully selected whisky bar.

It was a great pleasure to organise this elegant celebration with such a varied, interesting and warm group of people. We absolutely loved getting to know Tina and Zac during the whole planning process, and we hope to keep in touch with them for many years to come.
