When a wedding is so beautiful, it’s hard to say whether it makes composing a blog easier or harder – with the most gorgeous florals, majestic castle wedding venue and quite frankly a super hot wedding party, we had a tricky task selecting just a few of Wedding’s Art’s stunning photos to share with you. But here goes….
Californian couple Brianna and Nick have known each other since high school and finally got together at college, during which time Bri spent a semester on exchange at Barcelona university. Although Nick hated being apart from her at the time, it was this experience that made them both realise they wanted to be together for the rest of their lives. Hence why Barcelona holds a very special place in both of their hearts. (Yes we know, sounds too sweet to be true right?!) And with such fairytale beginnings to their story, what better way to seal the deal than with a castle wedding? They fell in love with Castell d’Empordà from pictures online and didn’t see the venue until the week before the wedding. Suffice to say it exceeded their expectations and was the perfect backdrop to bring together their closest friends and family for three days of wedding fun.
Burgundy was a huge trend for 2018 and the rich tones fit perfectly with the castle wedding vibe. Both in the luscious florals and in the wedding party’s attire, the colours weaved throughout the day. Plenty of Mediterranean greenery in the decoration and stationery further married the Californian glamour of the guests with the Spanish setting.
A very dapper male friend in the bridal party – because who said a bride’s besties have to be all female? A touching ceremony masterfully led by one of the couple’s best friends with the stunning castle wedding venue as a backdrop. Very slickly prepared entrances, first dance, and father-daughter and mother-son dances with the very best music selection… The list goes on and on. From the minute we met Bri and Nick, we were bowled over by how friendly, easy-going and genuine they were as a couple, with a love and respect for each other that came across even over Skype calls. That happiness shone through the whole wedding celebration and made it truly a joyous day, which we were honoured to be a part of.
